High Commission of Sri Lanka, Victoria, Seychelles

Overview of the Mission
The High Commission of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Victoria, Seychelles, represents Sri Lanka in the Republic of Seychelles and is concurrently accredited to the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Madagascar. Diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the Republic of Seychelles were established on 3 October 1988, reflecting the longstanding friendship and close ties between the two Indian Ocean island nations. Building on these strong relations, the High Commission was officially inaugurated in 2014 at its present location at Suite 3-01, Capital City Building, Independence Avenue, Victoria, Seychelles.
The Mission is committed to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, tourism, fisheries, education, culture, health and maritime cooperation. It also provides consular services and assistance to Sri Lankan nationals and promotes the welfare of the Sri Lankan community. Through its concurrent accreditation, the Mission further advances Sri Lanka’s diplomatic, economic and people-to-people relations with the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Madagascar.
